New Zealand speedster Adam Milne has singed for Kent for the current county season and has joined New Zealand squad for the forthcoming Champions Trophy to be played in England and Wales. He will be available for selection for Kent for T20 Blast and County Championship games which will take place in the months of July and August.
Milne played against Ireland in the recently tri-nation series staged in Ireland. He has made sporadic appearances for New Zealand since making his debut. The pacer did play a couple of games for Royal Challengers Bangalore in this year’s Indian Premier League. The pace bowler stated that he was excited to be playing for Kent as the county is one of competitive teams in the English County Championship.
He has played 18 T20 Internationals and 34 One Day Internationals for New Zealand. Adam Milne has collected 67 wickets in the 20-over format at a superb strike rate of 19.1. The stint at Kent would certainly do Milne a world of good as he is naturally gifted pace who regularly clocks 90 mile an hour.
