2021 Pakistan Super League:Statistical Overview

2021 Pakistan Super League will be played in the month of February and March in Pakistan. The sixth edition will be played across two venues-Lahore and Karachi. The knockout games including final will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

T20 Superstar, Rashid Khan, has been signed by Lahore Qalandars for the coming season of PSL. Chris Gayle was picked by Quetta Gladiators, whereas Mohammad Rizwan will lead Multan Sultans for the coming edition of the league.

Islamabad United have signed England players like Phil Salt, Reece Topley and Lewis Gregory for this year’s competition. Reece Topley, Chris Jordan and Colin Munro will not be available for United this season due to various reasons.

Peshawar Zalmi will miss the services of Liam Livingstone, who has been named in England’s T20 squad for the five-match series in India. Faf du Plessis has been included as a standby player for Chris Gayle, who might miss the early part of the competition. Afghanistan spinner Qais Ahmed and Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn are other overseas players picked by Gladiators for this year’s tournament.

38 runs needed by Multan Sultans batsman Rilee Rossouw to complete 1,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League competition. Left-hander has delivered excellent numbers in the tournament with 962 runs in 40 matches at an average of 34.35. He has scored one century and three half-centuries to his name.

132 runs needed by Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed to complete 1,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League competition. Wicket-keeper has accumulated 868 runs in 52 matches at an average of 28.00 with three half-centuries to his name.

140 runs needed by Quetta Gladiators batsman Cameron Delport to complete 1,000 runs in the competition. Left-hander has accumulated 860 runs in 34 matches at an average of 27.74 with one century and five half-centuries to his name.

207 runs needed by Karachi Kings batsman Colin Ingram to complete 1,000 runs in Pakistan Super League competition. Left-hander has scored 793 runs in 32 matches at an average of 33.04 with one century and three half-centuries to his name.

1 wicket required by Karachi Kings pacer Mohammad Amir to complete 50 wickets in the competition. Left-arm has claimed 49 wickets in 48 matches at an average of 25.48.

1 wicket required by Quetta Gladiators spinner Mohammad Nawaz to complete 50 wickets in PSL competition. Left-arm spinner has claimed 49 wickets in 52 matches at an economy rate of 7.12.

2 wickets needed by Multan Sultans pacer Sohail Tanvir to complete 50 wickets in the Pakistan Super League. Left-arm quick has claimed 48 wickets in 46 matches at an average of 25.14 with an economy rate of 7.55.

4 wickets needed by Islamabad United all-rounder Faheem Ashraf to complete 50 wickets in the PSL. He has picked up 46 wickets in 31 matches at an average of 18.52.
