Bhuvneshwar Kumar set to miss upcoming World Cup games due to hamstring injury.

Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar will miss upcoming three World Cup games after suffering a hamstring injury in the game played against Pakistan at Manchester. He could not take part in the match throwing down two overs with the new-ball.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar sustained the injury in left hamstring while landing on the footmarks. He did not bowl further in the game as a precaution. Medium-pacer had to go for further treatment in order to assess his condition. He will be looking to recover fit in time for big games against England and Bangladesh. Virat Kohli spoke in a press conference at Manchester said that Bhuvneshwar was taken off the field as a precaution. Mohammad Shami will take place in the playing XI for the upcoming games in the World Cup.

Vijay Shankar, who completed Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s over trapped Imam-ul-Haq right in front of stumps for 7 runs. Indian Team Physio Patrick Farhart came to the field to assess condition of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Shankar bowled well and managed to restrict the scoring rate. The side has plenty of concerns going into the World Cup as Shikhar Dhawan has suffered from a finger injury during India’s game against Australia at The Oval. Left-hander will miss the round-robin games for India in this World Cup.
