India announce their squad for ODIs and T20 series against England

Virat Kohli is the new captain of Indian team in one day cricket after MS Dhoni decided to quit the leadership role in limited overs and T20 format a few days ago. The selection committee has picked the squad that has seen a lot of surprise inclusion for the one day and T20 series as star player Yuvraj Singh make his return to the Indian national side. Shikhar Dhawan also is in the mix for the series against England. Rishabh Pant has been called up for his terrific performances in the domestic setup.

The side also sees return for Ashish Nehra and Ajinkya Rahane who missed out on playing for India due to injuries. India will go into the series with new batting combination at the top of the order as Rohit Sharma is out of series due to injury. The visitors are all set to play their first game of the one day series at Pune on 15th January after receiving a 4-0 thrashing in the test series against India earlier this month. The five match series will be followed three t20s to conclude a long series for England.
