Misbah-ul-Haq has clearly stated that he will assess his international career at the end of this year’s Pakistan Super League. The experienced middle order batsman is all set to lead the reigning champions Islamabad United to defend their crown in the second edition of Pakistan Super League.
Misbah-ul-Haq said that he will take his time to decide on his international career and would not want to rush things at this moment. Pakistan test captain has come under the radar from all circles after successive defeats in Australia and New Zealand. The problems have been further compounded by the batsman lack of runs with the bat in the five games in the Southern Hemisphere.
He said he is unfazed by criticisms from cricket pundits and will try his best to produce runs with a willow in test cricket. Misbah-ul-Haq took over reigns when Pakistan was at its lowest ebb during spot fixing scandal in England in 2010.He is credited to have put the house in order in Pakistan cricket that saw them climb to world no.1 in test cricket.
