Sri Lanka all set to tour India in December

Sri Lanka is scheduled to tour India at the end of the year as islanders will play three tests, three one day internationals and two T20s. It is going to be full-fledged tour of India for the first time for Sri Lanka as they play across all three formats since 2009. Sri Lankan Cricket Board confirmed that they venues for the tour are not yet decided but the tour is all set to begin according to the schedule.

The side will play India after the conclusion of their series against Pakistan to be played in UAE in the month of October. Sri Lanka did lose the test series last time when they toured India in 2009 by a margin of 2-0. They also did not win the one day series but managed to level the T20 series. India is all set to tour Sri Lanka in July for a full series as Virat Kohli came out victorious last time India played Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka has gone through of struggle in the last one year as Captain Angelo Matthews has been in and out of the side. Upul Tharanga has been stand-in captain for the side during this time.
