Sydney Thunder sign Alex Hales for the coming season of Big Bash League

Former England batsman Alex Hales has signed for Sydney Thunder for the upcoming Big Bash League. The swashbuckling opener has been roped in by the franchise on a one-year deal. South African all-rounder Chris Morris is the second overseas player signed by the side for the coming season.

Alex Hales expressed his happiness after signing for Sydney Thunder for upcoming season of Big Bash League. The opening batsman said that the league is competitive T20 Leagues around the world. Hales said that the standard of cricket is excellent and it will be excellent opportunity to play in Australia.

After not being picked for 2019 ICC World Cup, Hales will be looking to make a big impact with the bat for Sydney Thunder in the upcoming season of Big Bash League.
