Bangladesh have announced their 15-member squad for the forthcoming one-day series against South Africa. The Tigers have included uncapped player Mohammad Saifuddin and Liton Das in the squad. Tamim Iqbal is in the squad despite suffering from a thigh injury as selection committee was hoping that left-handed opener will recover in time for the one-day leg of the tour that starts from 15 October.
Nasir Hossain keeps his place in the side as Mosaddek Hossain has been dropped for the series. Liton Das also makes a return to the national side for the limited overs format after last representing Bangladesh in 2015 against Zimbabwe. Shafiul Islam and Sanjamul Islam have been dropped from the side after poor performances.
Pace bowler Mashrafe Mortaza will lead the Bangladesh side for the one-day series. All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will also return for Bangladesh to play the one-day and T20 leg of the tour.
